Garbage Day

This is a placeholder for my submission to AGBIC's (A Game By Its Cover) July 2023 Jam "up and not crying" and is still in development. Original Famicase cartridge artwork is by Will Greenwalt (2023), who was nice enough to give his blessing for me to use it for this project!

Garbage Day is an interactive fiction game about learning how to be kind to yourself and forming healthy habits. It starts out with missing the garbage truck on trash day, and coming back into the house only to realize how messy things have gotten over time. What follows is an exploration of finding healthy balances in a busy life so that even when you're having a "garbage day" you can still keep moving forward knowing tomorrow is another day and another opportunity!
